Services & Utilities Information

Water
New residents to Thorsby must apply to the Village Office for a water service account. There will be a $40.00 hook-up fee for all accounts.

Power
The current service provider for the village is Epcor. Their number for service is 310-4300.

Gas
The current service provider is Direct Energy. Their number for service is
420-7838 or 1-866-420-3174.

Permits
Any new construction or development of land in the village requires a building and/or development permit. This would include garages, sheds, additions to your home or any major structural change to an existing building. Permits must be purchased at the Village Office.

Leaves and Grass Clippings
This service is provided to Village residents from the beginning of May to the middle of October. Time may vary to the weather conditions.

Garbage Pickup
Garbage pick up is Wednesday mornings. Please check with the Village Office to verify if you have front street or lane pick up. Your garbage should be out no later than 7:00 a.m. This service is billed bi-monthly on your water bill.
