Family and Community Information

FCSS has been providing services to individuals and families in Thorsby since 1985.

FCSS provides members of the community of Thorsby with information, referrals, preventative programs, educational programs, and assistance with community development.

FCSS acts as a liaison for Leduc County FCSS services such as Outreach Home Support, Family Support Services, Community Support Services, Family Connections, and Flying Colors. Community programs offered directly through FCSS include the Babysitter's Safety Course, Volunteer Income Tax Program, Rural Safety Program, Rainbows Program, Christmas Elves, Youth Sport Subsidy and Compassionate Relief. As well, the program coordinator is available to offer assistance with government forms for seniors, and general assistance for low-income families in need.
