Outdoor Ice Rink

There is one outdoor ice rink in the village that is located at the elementary school.

Community Hall

The community hall has accommodations for up to 450 people. It has two levels with a mezzanine and full kitchen facilities. Contact (780) 789-4041.

Playgrounds

The village has three playgrounds. There is one at the recreation complex, one at the elementary school and one at the campground.

Baseball Diamonds

We have a total of four baseball diamonds within the village limits. There is one at the Recreation Complex, two at the elementary school, and one located at the high school.

Soccer Fields

Both schools have soccer fields and there is one at the recreation complex as well.

Basketball Courts

Both schools have basketball courts with two at the high school.

Trails

Thorsby has been working on its trails for a couple of years and they are growing and improving all the time. Check them out at the lions campground.

Haymaker Centre

A covered riding area that hosts rodeo's, team pennig, bull 'o' rama, team roping, high school rodeo and socials. This centre is rented out for numerous other equestrian events.

Campground

The Lions Campground is located in the village and is on a hill overlooking Weed Creek. Water and electrical hook-ups are available. Also provided is a sewage dump station.

Golf, Fishing, and Picnic

Thorsby is the gateway to Pigeon Lake and all of its amenities. Great for year round living or weekend and day trips.
